"An idea that is developed and put into action is more important than an idea that only exists as an idea."
Buddha
I generally like to hold back my thoughts hoping to hear yours but in this case . . .
There are no perfect ideas, plans, etc. Even what in retrospect appears to have been great, most likely started off as something else and evolved to its current state.
Have an idea, develop it to a point but then take action.

I couldn't agree more. The only thing worse than not planning is over planning to the point that it gets in the way of action.
ReplyDeleteWell maybe Buddha knows when enough is enough but I often don't and because I don't, I error on the side of more thought and planning.
ReplyDeleteIf you have to do too much or too little planning, I'm with you, go for more, but at the same time "paralysis by analysis" is real and should be avoided.
