This makes particular sense when physically exploring because there is nothing worse than having to cover the same ground more than once.
But I think it applies in business as well.
Is there any good reason to pay for the same thing twice, which is what you do when you repeat behavior, particularly bad behavior?

It would make sense if the cost to do something twice was less than the cost of failure if you only do it once, but do it wrong
ReplyDeleteTrue, but that sounds like the "Measure twice, cut once" advice from Anonymous in the last post.
ReplyDeleteWhat I'm referring to is unthinking repetitive behavior coming from what Wayne Dyer calls "the habitual mind" in his book, "Excuses Begone!"
His advice is aimed at individuals but in my mind, applies to business decision making as well.
Rethink what you do rather than simply doing it because you always have.
