Thank You!

"Gratitude is not only the greatest of virtues, but the parent of all others."
Cicero
Roman Statesman

The "mothership" for gratitude includes such things as appreciation, being thankful and giving recognition to those who help you achieve your personal and professional goals.

I thank all of you who have participated and followed Business Wisdom since its inception just a few short months ago and hope to see you with us in the time ahead.

Happy Holidays to you all and I wish you a much better 2009!

  1. This reminds me of a story I heard about Ernest Hemingway. While living in Spain, Hemingway entertained some 'boorish' guests from America by taking them to the bullfights. After spending a large sum of money doing so, he was never thanked by his guests; prompting Hemingway to say something to the effect that 'there is no such thing as gratitude, only the expectation of gratitude.'
