Experience guides which tools of management we use. If the people of your organization are only experienced with driving nails, then they will approach every problem with a hammer.
ReplyDeleteCycling though talent is painful in any organization but it could also be a godsend and I would argue, in the long run, essential.
I think you are are asking if our companies value experience which is another way of asking how they treat older employees.
ReplyDeleteIn my company not well and I don't say that because I am older (I'm 36.) We have a younger culture and the young ones act as if the older ones have nothing to say that they need to hear.
