I can think of many tasks in my business career I absolutely did not feel larger than; to the contrary I felt overwhelmed.
Part of that is the result of understanding the difference between "being" and "acting" in control, "larger" than your tasks.
I work at it, what do you do?
A lot of apparently successful business leaders, and politicians for that matter, are much better at appearing capable than they are at being it. I think it is a prerequisite for the job.
ReplyDeleteAgreed. It's hard to hide when your work backlog is as much as is true for the woman in this post. When that happens you'd better have more than words.
