"You are about as happy as you make up your mind to be."
Mark Twain
And this is about as plain spoken definition of attitude, subtly suggesting what we all should do in the process, as I can imagine.
That we all have problems is a given as is the fact that we worry about them.
But how we approach those problems is not.
Do we manage them or do they manage us?

I don't know about Alfred but I'll accept this from Mr. Twain.
ReplyDeleteSamuli has a great, related post in his "Manager's Toolbox" blog (http://tinyurl.com/mrvzcn).
ReplyDeleteAbout as happy as possible but is it good or bad that we always want more?
ReplyDeleteI don't think the issue is wanting more; striving for improvement is a good thing. The problem is not being happy with what you have when you don't get what you wanted.
ReplyDeleteSo, go for it all, be happy with what you get.
