Given a 50% divorce statistic, I'm not so sure.
And the same logic applies in business too where there are more failed mergers/acquisitions than successful ones.
the difference in business is that the acquiring or dominate company doesn't really care about their counterparts in the other company no matter what they say before the deal is done.
