Management Genius: Stiring the Pot

"Philosophy becomes poetry, and science imagination, in the enthusiasm of genius."

Isaac D'Israeli
Early 19th century British writer

Genius, the missing ingredient that makes the stew.

If that's not a definition for inspirational management I don't know what is.

  1. It is the missing ingredient. You are called a "manager" because you manage other things and people. If it were about doing you would be called a "doer".

  2. So often people criticize mangers who appear to try to do things differently. When their success can no longer be denied, they become genius.

Steve Jobs is a good example. Boy wonder the first half dozen or so years at Apple, then just another tech geek until his "resurrection" in the last 10 years.
