Never Surrender?

"Obstinacy in a bad cause is but constancy in a good."

Sir Thomas Browne
17th century English author

Advocating for what you believe it is a good thing with the trick being to recognize when you are standing your ground versus being buried under it.

  1. Highly unlikely that a 17th century Christian mystic had business advice in his thoughts at all, if ever.

  2. Question Hydriotaphia.

Did you ever consider that "wisdom" is not confined within one's area of expertise whatever that may be, including business or 17th century Christian mysticism?

Much of what we learn comes from tying together seemingly disparate thinking to find new concepts we would not otherwise discover.

Or does "a stitch in time save nine" only apply to sewing??
