Unfortunately the dynamics of the economics post-WWII lead to a consumerism that created requirements where none neither existed nor were required to exist. This neo-ism was considered a smart innovation! But the non-sustainability of the system has come to haunt the so-called developed economies now leading to one of the greatest slowdowns, where no viable solutions appear even in the near horizon.
