"O, mischief, though art swift to enter into the thoughts of desperate men!"
William Shakespeare
16th century British playwright
And who can be more desperate than management in a troubled company?
How (do) you insure that management mischief will not appear when big problems arise?
I've worked with two companies with very different management types. The first was an established corporation I found through a it staffing firm, while the other was a start-up. Surprisingly enough, the start-up had more competent managers, maybe because they had to be with such a small team. thanks for the post!
ReplyDeleteI'm not surprised. Good management, never mind great, is not correlated with company size or performance. It stems from the attitudes, training, and ethics of management.
