The devil you know versus the one you don't?
Maybe it is fearing the future but it can also be about missing the past.
ReplyDeleteThat too. Just like the last day of school we all looked so forward to, until it arrived. Then it was about the friends we wouldn't see anymore, not at least until the next school year started 3 months later.
