Something for Everyone

Baltasar Gracian

And never enter agreements favorably only to you.

One way or the other you will pay.

  1. Agreed.

I'm an attorney specializing in contract law and while it is my job to get the best possible deal for my clients, I advise them of the need for parity in terms. This doesn't mean both sides will benefit equally but any agreement that does not provide for both parties will not work.

  2. Thank you for adding that. Somewhere in the dark recesses of my recall of college business law, I believe I learned that a contract without benefit to both parties is not enforceable. So not only will such a situation not work from an ethical point of view, it apparently won't legally either.
