That Should Be Obvious

Some do this out of a sense of insecurity, not certain they've been understood.

Others do because they know what they've said is not obvious.

And a few simply change their mind in the brief moments between having and expressing a thought.

Understanding how often each of these applies to you is the hard part.

  1. What is obvious need not be explained and what is not should be, but as you say, knowing the difference between the two is not easy.

  2. thinking about it i think the less secure are the ones who most often feel the need to explain what the rest of think is obvious
