Calling the author of this quote "unknown" may surprise many of you, in that it is most often attributed to Winston Churchill. But as well to George Bernard Shaw and Oscar Wilde just to name two others.
Whoever it was it makes the point that two nations, and I think people as well, can use the same language without understanding each other.
Think about this the next time you find yourself saying, "S(he) just doesn't get it."
