FEAR BEING AFRAID

"Excessive fear is always powerless."

Aeschylus, 5th century BC Greek tragedian

Fear can protect assuming what we fear warranted being afraid of in the first place.

Don't deny or give into what you fear.

Create your plan to eliminate the threat and more often than not you will.

"Constant exposure to dangers will breed contempt for them."

Seneca (4 BC-65) Roman philosopher/playwright.

REVOLUTIONARY THREATS AND OPPORTUNITIES

"A great revolution is never the fault of the people, but of the government."

Johann Wolfgang Von Goethe
Late 18th/early 19th century German poet, novelist, dramatist

In business "government" is management.

And take heart; "revolutions" can lead to good as well as bad.

Don't fear them, plan for them.

"Logical consequences are the scarecrows of fools and the beacons of wise men."

Thomas H. Huxley
19th century British biologist

And for that we are fools.

Understand the potential consequences of your actions, and decide based on that what course you will take.

There are enough real threats to be avoided without adding the unreal ones we perceive as real.
