As most do.
If we can recall what part of our business plan did not work, why can't we (often enough) also foresee what will not work in the future?

I think it is difficult for many to let go of their idea once they become convinced it will work, no matter how much evidence to the contrary.
ReplyDeleteCertainly this is true in our personal lives. I know I've been guilty of continuing down a path others knew was wrong.
And I see the same in business as well. Unless the organization has and uses decision checks and balances, the possibility of repeating mistakes is quite high.
Is this "Alice in Wonderland" Lewis Carroll?
ReplyDeleteYes it is Patricia. Are you thinking that connecting a quote by the guy who wrote Alice in Wonderland, to business, is strange?
ReplyDeleteI find many quotes from poets, writers, philosophers and the like, that, to me, also relate to business.
It makes sense. They are all talking about life and while I think we sometimes make business out to be some separate entity, a science almost, it is nothing more than people living their lives.
