No doubt about it the internet is one of the most enabling business tools ever, one with a dark side.
Consciously or otherwise when managers act as though all they need to know will come from that monitor they face each day, their connection to reality is lost.

To support that, I've noticed that the managers that send the most e-mails, spend the most time reading the e-mails and responding by e-mails. Management by e-mail.

ReplyDeleteThere should be an ironclad rule that says if you have something negative to say you must say it in person.
