MOST LIKELY TO . . . ?

"Popularity? It's glory's small change."

Victor Hugo (1802-1885) French poet/dramatist/novelist.

"He who is in love with himself has at least this advantage, he won't encounter many rivals."

Georg C. Lichtenberg
18th century German scientist

"To avoid criticism, do nothing, say nothing, be nothing."

Elbert Hubbard
19th century American editor/author
