Not intentionally but many of us too often, to the point that you could substitute "most" for "some".

Just think how much much more right you could be if you just waited that one extra minute it takes not to be wrong.

But how do you balance the time necessary to develop "cool judgment" versus "hasty counsel"?

Substitute any number of adjectives for "honorable" and this works in many situations.

Accurate, correct, fair, efficient, timely, effective, etc.

All and more like them, qualities we should emphasize in business more than expedient.

In auto racing this is called slow down to go fast, meaning, driving faster than your ability, the car, road, or some combination of these will allow, will cause you to lose the race.
