Great Idea? You And Everybody Else

"Ideas are a capital that bears interest only in the hands of talent."

Antoine Rivarol
18th century French writer

Let me be more blunt.

Good ideas are a dime a dozen, worth very little if not backed with a well considered plan.

Whether it be your personal or professional life, no plan, little chance of success.

  1. Yes but without talent, you don't get good ideas

  2. You know Fabel, I think that all depends on how we define "talent". Everybody is good as some things, not so much at others. As I think about it, I recall a lot of great ideas that came from people who weren't very capable of doing anything with them. Others who didn't come up with the idea did that. So who had the talent?
